World of Warcraft:
Warlock Guide
Leveling a warlock is one of the easier classes to level in the World of
Warcraft. At an earlier level, your character will gain the ability to summon a Voidwalker. Once you can
summon the Voidwalker, leveling a warlock hits cruise control.
The Voidwalker is similar to a Hunters pet. He has the same
ability to taunt, and is able to take a great amount of damage before his demise. Without the Voidwalker, leveling
a warlock would be an extremely difficult task. All of the other warlock pets are easy to pull aggro from, which
results in you having to eat and drink after each fight.
Aside from the Voidwalker, the only other option as a tanking pet
is the Felguard. The Felguard requires level 50, and that your talent points are spent in the Demonology.
Unfortunately you cannot use the Felguard until level 50, but he will make the next 30 levels leveling a warlock a
breeze.
The Ultimate Warcraft
Guide
Another of the fastest options while leveling a warlock is the
"Drain Tank" technique. I personally used this technique leveling mine and found it pretty effective. The idea is
to level as Affliction, and use your Succubus for the DPS. The requirement is that you invest points in the Soul
Siphon and Fel Concentration talents, and eventually Siphon Life. Place your dot’s (damage over time) on the target
and just drain life. The health regen using this technique will keep you alive, and leveling a warlock
fast.
As always, we recommend a good warlock leveling guide. Not just to
help with leveling a warlock, but to also help you with leveling an appropriate profession, give great advice for
PvP, and help you to get the most out of your character.
The warlock leveling guide contains much needed information to
level fast. Quest routes, which quests to avoid, and which to follow through with will help to power level your
warlock to 80 fast.
PvP while leveling a warlock is extremely fun, and now grants a
little bit of XP to boot. At higher levels, when you can max out resilience on your character, warlock pvp becomes
even more fun. Warlocks can be surprisingly resilient while dealing phenomenal DPS in the process.
While leveling a warlock, I would recommend leveling Tailoring and
another profession. You could level enchanting with it, or maybe just a good money maker such as mining, or
herbalism. Tailoring will allow you to craft armor for yourself while leveling, and at higher levels, allow you to
craft a Flying Carpet mount and even an epic flying carpet mount.
Along with the mounts, some good leg enchants are available with
Tailoring and also a cloak enchant which acts as a trinket granting an increase in spell power, attack power, etc.
for a brief period.
Take a look at one of our warlock leveling guides on one of the
side links, or below. After playing for nearly 5 years, I highly recommend a good warlock leveling guide. The World
of Warcraft is a great online role playing game, and like any other mmo it requires a lot of time invested. If
you’re already paying 15 dollars a month for the warcraft account, it is well worth the investment to get the most
out of your characters by purchasing a good guide.
