Leveling Engineering

Leveling engineering can be one of the most difficult and gold consuming professions in the World of Warcraft. Many players level engineering on "twinks" so they are able to give them higher level gear and items. Remember the days when you were in the level 19 Warsong brackets and you would see a Rogue with 3,000 HP one-shotting everything in sight? Well, if you don’t remember those days then you’re luckily…..unless you were one of those rogues of course.

Wearing glowing goggles and running amuck in the lower level battlegrounds is not cheap though. Like blacksmithing, I would highly recommend that you level mining to go along with leveling engineering. Mining will give you the copper and other metals that you will need to create bolts and other items to increase engineering.

So why level engineering if I can’t make oodles of gold from it? Almost everything you make from leveling engineering benefits you! You get to craft some of the BEST items in game! You can make bombs, dynamite, some jumper cables to revive a fallen comrade, an explosive sheep, epic head pieces, an epic flying helicopter, the well known "chopper" motorcycle mount! And the list goes on.

With leveling engineering, you can also make scopes for ranged weapons which will further increase the damage they do. You can make a repair robot which comes in handy in raids.

A lot of the items made with engineering can be beneficial in PvP. The rocket boots are a great example of that.

To level engineering just visit one of the major cities in your area and ask a guard where the trainer is located.
