Druid Guide

Druids are powerful healers, a high DPS ranged class, and one of the highest HP tanking classes. If you level feral druid, not only do you have the ability to tank, but you can also produce very high DPS in cat form.

It can be a slow process to level druid at first, but like most other classes, the pace begins to pick up as you proceed in level. Particularly when you are able to transform into a bear, cat, cat travel form, and even a sea lion for faster travel through water.

Druids are well sought after for group compilations, bringing Mark of the Wild (a buff that increases all stats) and depending on the spec a melee or spell critical increase. The druid does not bring the versatility of shaman buffs, but is definitely needed for a raid.

If you chose to level feral druid (like I have recently) make sure to pick up the recommended talents. Picking up the talent that increases your movement speed in cat form greatly increases your leveling speed since you are able to move from target to target quicker.

The versatility offered as a druid can make the class difficult to master. Knowing when to switch to a different form for survival, or when to switch to travel form to escape. Even as a healer, going stealth in cat form can be great for PvP…especially in the Arena. It takes a lot of practice so don’t get frustrated too quickly.
