Death Knight Guide

Are you looking for help trying to level death knight? Leveling a death knight is a fairly simple task compared to some of the other classes in the World of Warcraft. Death knight level spec is a controversial topic, and many death knights swear that each spec may be best for leveling. Frost offers a lot of burst. Unholy offers a lot of AoE to take down multiple targets at one time. Blood offers consistent DPS, and greater health regeneration than the other two specs.

So which spec will you choose to if you want to level death knight? I have a level 80 death knight of my own. When Wrath of the Lich King first came out, I leveled a Death Knight as well as my Mage (good ol’ Cocoa). While I am very experienced playing with my mage, I found the Death Knight to be surprisingly easy and fast to level.

Even with my recommendation, you must go with the death knight level spec that you like the most. After playing this game for almost 5 years, the one thing I have learned is play what you enjoy the most. If you play whatever class and spec you like the most, you will be successful.

A smart player who knows his/her class, spec, and abilities well is far more valuable than an average player using a cookie cutter spec. I would take a smart player and sacrifice a few hundred DPS any day over someone who barely knows the spec they are playing.
