80 Shaman PvP 

80 shaman pvp is becoming significantly more popular since the release of Wrath of the Lich King.  The shaman gained some well needed buffs to each of the different talent specs.  Most shaman pvp guide will recommend going the full 51 points into a talent to pick up these newer talents.

A restoration shaman has now gained even more survivability, as well as mobility.  Improved earth shields and the all important Riptide now allow the shaman to instant cast heals while on the move.  This is significant for 80 shaman pvp since staying on the move means staying alive! The Ultimate Warcraft Guide

Since WotLK, the enhancement shaman has been making a come back.  With Spirit Wolves, and now the ability to use Shamanistic Rage while stunned, enhancement shammies are becoming slightly more viable to play in a pvp environment. The earthen power talent is even making them further sought after for arena teams since earthbind totem now removes snares.  Along with the already mentioned talents, you will want to pick up Toughness (increases stamina), and also Frozen Power (frost shock roots targets that are further than 15 yards from you).  These talents make 80 shaman pvp as enhancement much easier.  And as always, a good shaman pvp guide helps out a lot too.

And finally, the best 80 shaman pvp spec....Elemental!  Some may disagree, but if you have EVER played elemental for 80 shaman pvp you would understand.  Lava Burst?  Yes, thank you!  Between that and chain lightning, 80 shaman pvp has bever been so much fun!  The downside to chain lightning is that it draws a nice big blue line straight back to you.  Suddenly you're in everyones cross hairs.  Thunderstorm is a great new talent.  It is designed mostly for pvp for the knock back effect.  This helps with rogues, druids, all those "stun me to death" classes.  Not to mention, Lumber Mill in Arathi Basin?  Watch 'em all fly!  I wouldn't really say that there is a particular PVP spec for 80 shaman pvp as elemental.
